When the customer exercises their right of withdrawal and returns the product, the return period begins. This is the timeframe during which the customer can actually send the product back to the webshop.

What is the statutory return period?

After cancelling the purchase within the cooling-off period the return period begins, and the consumer is legally entitled to at least 14 days to send the product back.

The webshop is required to refund the full purchase amount, including any shipping costs, within a maximum of 14 days after receiving the returned item.

What is the difference between the return period and the cooling-off period?
